PROFILE

Peter has worked exclusively in the recruitment and career counselling industry since graduating from University.

Initially employed with the Australian Public Service Board handling recruitment to the Australian Public Service, he spent eight years with the Department of Employment and Training in the Commonwealth Employment Services Network managing various specialty operating units.

Joining KPMG in 1988 as a consultant he went on to manage the Human Resources Consulting Division in the Adelaide practice until 1996.  He was instrumental in establishing strong national and international standards for the practice and developed the database system “FastMatch” that was used widely in Australia and overseas by KPMG.  This was followed by periods as Manager, Executive Recruitment Division for Speakman Stillwell and later with Hender Consulting, before setting up his own specialist practice in May 2000.

PJM Consulting joined forces with the Australia wide privately owned Lloyd Morgan Group in 2002 trading under that name until 2006. Following a national buy-out in 2006 PJM Consulting went its own way becoming Corus People Solutions until again a buy-out offer from a national company resulted in a decision to re-adopt the more personalised approach that characterised the original company as a specialist consultancy under the PJM Consulting name.
